TPC surveys Showcase Attendees in an effort to continually improve our events!
Results from a Survey of 2004 Fall Soccer Showcase Participants -
Event Attendees were asked to evaluate the event based on a 4 point scale (1 Excellent, 2 Very Good, 3 Average, 4 Needs Improvement) after the event via an email/online survey:
Question #1 - Please rate the pre-event registration and confirmation process
Average Rating was 1 - Excellent. Comments included: "[The process] couldn't have been easier to sign up. I recieved quick confirmation of my registration and everything went very smoothly." Patrick O'Sullivan, participant.
Question #2 - Please rate the operational quality of the onsite event - check-in process, on-time/schedule of event, warm-ups, etc
Average Rating was 2 - Very Good. Comments included: "It was easy to find the [registration] tent and when I walked in, there were many people to welcome me and help me get checked-in - which eased some of my nerves because they were so nice." Ashley Taylor, participant.
Question #3 - Please rate the quality of the Recruiting Seminar held during the event.
Average Rating was 2 - Very Good. Comments included: "We learned new things that we had not heard previously - so it was helpful." Elaine Tibbets, parent.
Additional Comments: "They [TPC] were very helpful months after when my boys were being recruited for soccer and I had some questions on the process that I did not understand." Cathy Rodriquez, parent.
Question #4 - Please rate the quality of the post-event process - Delivery of evaluation reports for review, editing process, etc. and if you have heard from coaches to date:
Average Rating was 2 - Very Good. Comments included: "I got the report pretty quick and coaches were able to see me play and contacted me fairly soon after the showcase." Julia Steese, participant.
Additional Comments: "I have gotten about 10 letters from colleges regarding this showcase." Sam Cain, participant.
Question #5 - Please rate the quality of the evaluation report you received from the event.
Average Rating was 2 - Very Good. Comments included: "[The reports were] straight forward, easy to see strengths and weaknesses." Jimmy Vasquez, parent.

"I just realized that I didn't write after receiving the DVDs. First, thanks for the videos. I can see the value of these and of the nice production that you did. I'll be happy to recommend your services to people we see during the year. Mel's been in touch with the WNEC coach and received a very encouraging email and an invitation for an overnight visit. "My daughter attended the softball showcase at Bridgewater State in June 2004. I am happy to say that this year she will major in architecture at Norwich AND will be playing softball for Coach Tyner. When she went to an overnight at Norwich she was able to meet with the coach and give him her video. He was also present at the showcase and had notes on Kerri. Thanks! Mariann Ingraham"

"My Husband and I attended the 13th Annual NEHSS Boys Soccer Showcase on Saturday, November 16th with our son. We would like to thank all who made the event a great experience. They started the boys on time, they were well organized and there were a lot of college coaches there watching all the players. We were offered a seminar while our sons was playing soccer. I thought it was just going to be something to get us to spend money. To my surprise I was terribly wrong. The seminar offered loads of important facts as well as helpful information to help our son reach one of his dreams in life, to go on and play soccer after high school. We cannot thank everyone involved in making this Showcase an experience we will always remember." Diane Meal, Parent.
